We operate community-based homes in Alberta and the Northwest Territories, delivering care that prioritizes dignity, safety, cultural respect, and quality of life.
Our services are designed for individuals who benefit from structured, supportive environments grounded in trauma-informed practice, positive behaviour support, and interdisciplinary clinical oversight. We work collaboratively with individuals, families, guardians, clinicians, and funding partners to support stability, independence, and meaningful community inclusion.

Stillwater Home operates in compliance with Alberta’s Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD) Program, Northwest Territories Health and Social Services standards, and all applicable legislation. Stillwater Home offers residential placements for adults (18 years and older) with a documented developmental disability and a co-occurring mental health diagnosis (dual diagnosis).

Placement decisions are made collaboratively and emphasize informed consent, person-centred planning, and long-term stability.
Admission may not be appropriate if:
Transition planning begins at admission and is reviewed regularly. Discharges or transitions are coordinated collaboratively to ensure continuity of care and respectful, supported change.
